FREE AND EASY TIM
Herald Sun, 4th February, 1998

Tim Ferguson is back to being a free agent. He started his TV career with Two and slipped through a flirtation with Seven before signing with Nine for Don't Forget Your Toothbrush.

"I am no longer retained by Nine," Ferguson has revealed to the Guide. "The idea of the Friday late night show (Girl Friday) we were pushing for was knocked on the head again last December, so Nine and I decided to play this year free and easy." His last project while contracted to Nine, Little Aussie Battlers, screens next Tuesday at 7.30pm.

Teams divided into three age groups (babies, four-year-olds and seven-year-olds) battle it out in a test of speed, skill and endurance.

"I have three kids and was walking into it with my eyes wide shut. The dreadful back-stabbing world of television is a lot less stressful than the dreadful mud throwing world of home."
