As 'Rocky Horror' fever revs with the approach of the hit musical's Silver Anniversary, yet another Frank'n'Furter emerges.
This time it's Tim Ferguson, who'll star as the Transylvanian transvestite in a new Oz production.
Other cast members include television stars Dee Smart and Tottie Goldsmith.
Rehearsals start soon and Tim's undaunted by the prospect of flashing his pins in drag. But he's terrified of the high heels he has to wear. No doubt he'll get used to them - he'll get plenty of practice.
Ferguson, best known for his membership and some would say leadership of the Doug Anthony Allstars, believes the universal appeal of the show lies in its energy.
"It's energetic, it's rock'n'roll, there are great tunes in it, it's tongue in cheek, it's got sex, it's got violence, there's not much it doesn't have really."
The show's a virtual shoo-in at the box office and should hit the stage of the Brisbane Lyric Theatre next year.
