The walker on the right side of the photo entered the sun-lit area at the same time I clicked the shutter. It was more luck than judgement.

"Mist off the Torrens"
There had been very light rain most of the previous day. The night was calm and dewy, mist rose from the river and from the wet vegetation as soon as the sun struck it.

"Mist and willow"
The sunlight reflecting from the water surface in the foreground makes it appear to be backed by floodlights. The weeping willow with new spring foliage in the background provides a diagonal that matches that of the rising mist.

The sun backlighting the seed-heads of the grass makes them appear to glow.

"Lamb's ears"
The arrangement and texture of these leaves fascinated me.
