Stone Fox was a hard rock band from San Francisco. They became a band in the early 90's. Stone Fox broke up 6 months later, but was reunited again and signed at Linda Perry's record label Rockstar Records. Linda Perry is usually refered to as the former singer of 4 Non Blondes, but is also a solo artist with two records behind her, "In Flight" and "After Hours". She also produced 2-Lane Blacktop,

The album "Stone Fox" was produced in Rockstar Records. They changed label 1996, the same year their album was released. They signed up with Bad Taste and John Roecker got to produce their next album - Dirty Pillows, which was released 97. It includes a song featuring Exene Cervenka from the band Auntie Christ. Janis Tanaka, bass, has toured with Auntie Christ, L7, Hammers of Misfortune, (formaly known as Unholy Cadaver) and with Pink.

Kim Pryor, guitar, and Jorjee Douglas, singer, later started a new band called ButcherHoller.
I don't know what Yvette Douglas is up to.

Besides touring with Auntie Christ, they've also played an opening slot for Metallica on their West Coast Tour.

The song on Dirty Pillows with Exene is called "Something To Brag About".

They recorded their latest album Totally Burnt at Man's Ruin Records 98. Producer was Bart Thurber. The former drummer Brent Hoover was now replaced by Chris Scamman. This album is actually a remix from an album called Burnt. It was the first record they made and there are only 1000 copies of it. However, Totally Burnt contains some other songs as well. Those songs has been taken from cassette tapes. Most of the songs were written between 92 and 95 by Stone Fox and Ophelia Butt.
