| Strathroy Skating Club Skating Programs 2005-2006 Level 1 Monday 5:30-6:00 Wednesday 5:30-6:00 A learn-to-skate program for boys and girls. Certified Skate Canada Coaches and program assistants provide an on the ice program using levelled stations for participants by using age-appropriate activities and teaching methods. Skate Canada badge 1is mastered, skater will then advance to Level 2. Program runs from Oct.5 until March 8 2006. Program begins with a Family Skate Mon. Strathroy Skating Club Skating Programs 2005-2006 Power Skating Drills and Puck Handling Skills for Hockey This program is designed for hockey players whom wish to improve their skating and puck handling skills. By using the full ice surface this program promotes speed and basic skating skill development and how this applies to the game of hockey. The first 45 minute session will include a variety of forward and backward drills, following with 45 minutes of puck handling drills.
