Young American's was about a teenager named Will who got a rowing scholarship to attend the Private School located in his small town. His best friend, Sean, tried to support him but was often angry over what he felt was abandonment by his Best Bud. At school Will meets wealthy guy Scout, a sweet, kind hearted guy who believes Will's best female friend, Bella, is his half-sister. Rounding out the studly under-twenty crowd is Hamilton, a dark- haired, brown-eyed cutey. Their rowing instructor, Finn is also a former Townie like Will.
