Course materials will be distributed in class rather than being posted to this website.

Everybody in this year's Computer Concepts (basic) class must select one of the following options.

Option 1

For advanced students who have printer access only
Review one of the following incomplete website sections or pairs of sections from http://www.oocities.org/grossmancomputers :

Print out the entire section(s). Each section has a number of web pages.

Write your name on top of the first page.

Read the sections.

Prepare and submit twenty (20) comments from any combination of the following two issues:

Submit this project before the last class of the course.

Option 2

Select 20 items in the Control Panel. Describe the following:

Do not experiment with the Control Panel on college computers.

Submit this completed exercise before the last class of the course.

Option 3

Teach a topic to the class.

Present the information in a way that will be understandable and clear to those who have no background in the topic.

Prepare and distribute an exercise page that will help the students study and understand your topic.

Discuss the topic in advance with the teacher and set a date for your lesson. That date will be near the middle of January.

Option 4

Do the optional Excel project.

This is the most difficult and challenging item in this group.

Those who do this project cannot use it as an additional, optional project.

Submit this project before the last class of the course.

Option 5

You may recommend a different project by December 11. After that date you must select one of these options.
