There are a number of computer courses which are offered in this series and students are certainly welcome to take the basic courses in order to learn how to use a computer and to become familiar with the needs of the modern world. Indeed, those courses are recommended and they should be a prerequisite to the courses offered, the Special Education courses.
In addition, students of Special Education would do well to take courses in using the computer in order to help them in their work.
From their own point of view, those working in Special Education can benefit from the computer and can learn how to use it in order to organize their work and their studies and their caseload with their clients or students.
From the point of the students it is well worth studying how the students can benefit from various Special Education computer programs.
Although the available materials for Hebrew speaking Israelis is somewhat limited there are possibilities. For those who can use English the possibilities are far greater. In addition, the computer can be made accessible to those with disabilities so that they can use them as well. We will study the various options for making the computer accessible to these people.
