Career guidance can be difficult for many people. People are told to take a job from somebody else who enjoys it or feels that there is a future in it without knowing if it is best for themselves or appropriate or if they will like it.
Many people take aptitude tests or career guidance tests and on this basis determine which jobs they should take but they do not necessarily select the right job because the human element is so often removed from these issues. These issues also do not consider the location relevant or the issue of whether they are appropriate for a Jewish person or for other unique deeds which are not tested.
Our goal will be to go beyond the standard tests and to find the best thing for the person.
We will also benefit from worldwide resources which are available to Jewish job seekers in a unique system which has been developed by the instructor.
Not everyone is sure about what they want to do in life. Not every girl wants to be a teacher. Not every boy knows what to do after learning in yeshiva. Sometimes a guidance counselor can see you, your interests, your abilities, and your accomplishments in a different light, and help you move in the right direction.
Career counselors can help others make appropriate career choices. Being a sympathetic ear is not enough. You also need the skills and knowledge in order to make this a successful career.
