Meetings and conferences
The best way to share information today in the medical profession is by personal, face-to-face meetings and conferences.
If used effectively, these situations can aid in problem solving, policy development, and staff communications. They can also help those in the medical profession learn about the latest options for treatment. More important, they may be able to learn from other physicians about possible treatments that are contraindicated.
As time permits, we may also review methods and role-playing sessions in which a physician can learn good meeting and conference techniques. They will help professionals plan, schedule, lead, and question during these sessions. Successful application of these techniques will enable students to conduct sucessful and productive meetings and conferences.
