Sd.Kfz.6/2 was standard Sd.Kfz.6 halftrack mounted with special superstructure to allow installation of fully traversible anti-aircraft gun - 37mm Flak 36. The gun was not mounted with a shield as it was to be used only against flying targets and not ground ones. Ammunition for the gun was towed in special single axle trailer. The production of Sd.Kfz.6/2 started in 1941 ended in 1943 with 339 vehicles produced. All were issued to Flak units of the Luftwaffe. Sd.Kfz.6/2 was replaced by Sd.Kfz.7/2.
