Physics Paper Presentation

You might not be knowing that 2005 is International Year of Physics and also the 100th anniversary of Albert Einstein presenting his famous "Special Theory of Relativity". To mark this, our college G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering hosted an Intra - Collegiate competition on 30th December, 2005. Dr. Sanjay Lambade of Y.C.C.E., Nagpur & Dr. (Mrs.) Medha Joshi of Priyadarshini College, Nagpur were the Chief Guests and judges. The Topic of the Presentation was "Einstein's contribution to Physics".
The event started with the lighting of lamps by the chief guests. There were 20 groups in all but 1 entry was absent. It went on for some 4 hrs and finally the results were announced.
My Presentation, along with my friend Pranav Nikhare of Section 'E' was on "Special & General Theories of Relativity" but it was printed "Life & work of Einstein". Our group was 4th in serial order and actually, we were getting VERY NERVOUS !!! But it all went well and Pranav evoked laughter from the audience (though small is number !!!) by Einstein's funny Quotes like -
"If A equals success, then the formula is A = X + Y + Z. X is work. Y is play. Z is keep your mouth shut !!!"
"Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity."
There were only 2 prizes though, winners and runners up. But anyways, all though that everybody was a winner in their own right, because it is very difficult to present in front of an audience and the Chief Guests appreciated that.
But the real achievement for us was that our friends and our teacher Mrs. A.Poddar appreciated our effort.
