At LONG, LONG last! At his business "Incredible Dreams.com", Ryan had been being helped by the scheming Greenlee Smythe, who believed she was in love with Ryan (and still does!) She helped Ryan out in order to get close to him, & was the final nail in the coffin to Gillian when she told her how Ryan supposedly told her he was "in love with her" (and not Gillian). Gillian married Jake the next day, believing Ryan didn't love her anymore. Another thing Greenlee was doing was trying to BE Gillian, even stealing her diary & pretending to be another Gillian (as "Cynthia") a "customer" Ryan was trying to help at Incredible Dreams.com. Greenlee inadvertantly left Gillian's diary at Ryan's one night & Ryan found it & read it. Realizing everything that happened, Ryan rushed over to Wildwind & explained everything to Gillian & they made passionate love, with Gillian promising Ryan that she would end her marriage to Jake as soon as he returned home from Chechyna, which would be, they hoped, very soon. Ryan wanted to get revenge on Greenlee, but Gillian convinced him not to, because she knew Greenlee would take the info to the Martin's before she'd have a chance to tell Jake. |
