Ryan & Gillian spent an impassioned summer together, renewing their vow to love one another forever. But there was one obstacle that stood in their way: Gillian's husband Jake Martin. Gillian had told Ryan she wanted to wait to declare their love publicly only AFTER Jake had come back to town & she could tell him first. However, impatience got the best of both of them & they both went (along with super secret agent Adrian Sword) to Chechyna to get Jake out of danger & back home, so they could finally be together. Turns out, plans kind of, um, changed .... |

Ryan & Gillian arrive in Chechyna to gunfire & bombs but thankfully, Jake is still alive. But there is a problem. Jake has to get all the children out of the shelter to safety! Ryan can see that Gillian is in awe of Jake & all he has done & starts to feel uneasy. They both, however, make a vow to stand by each other to see this through. |

Gillian feels compassion for Jake & realizes that it's going to be a little harder than she expected to say goodbye to him. What's worse, when they get back to PV, Gilly finds out that Jake has a condition that will keep him from, well, he's impotent as a result of war injuries suffered from saving Gilly from gunfire! |

In the middle of all this is lovesick Greenlee, who put her life on the line after she borrowed $$ from a devious loan shark to cover what Ryan took from the IncredibleDreams.com account to fund the "Jake Rescue Mission". She finds out what Ryan used that money for & goes ballistic, taking an ax to his apartment (with a little help from Leo), after realizing that Ryan "used" her (in her eyes). She then proceeds to tell Derrick that RYAN is the one who is guilty of the misdeeds & then Ryan gets arrested! |

|
Jake holds an impromptu press conference after reporters get wind of his return. He & Gillian are forced to answer questions about the funding for the trip & Ryan, after being bailed out from jail, is there at the insistance of Adrian Sword, to make himself look good because he funded the mission to bring Jake back home. The reporters ask Jake to kiss Gilly, which doesn't make Ry too happy. Later, Jake tells Tad to give Ryan the $$ he feels he owes him for his rescue so that he & Gillian can get on with thier marriage. He says he knows that they were together while he was away, but he can forgive her & that they can work things out. |

Gillian, out of pity, attempts to make love to Jake on the night that she is supposed to tell him she is leaving him for Ryan! Ryan, meanwhile is at the turret waiting for her, not really sure what is going on. She meets him there the next day & tells him she needs a little more time to tell Jake. Ryan can't deal with it & leaves the turret in a huff. |

Ryan, visibly upset, tells Gillian that she can't have two men at the same time & that their plans for a reunion are over. Gillian, upset, runs to Jake for comfort. |

Ryan, desiring an edge, teams up with Adam Chandler, who agrees to mentor Ryan if he can make HIS dream come true: to get Liza back. Ryan promises that will happen & eventually, Liza & Adam do get back together, that is, after the yacht party for ID.com & the strange happenings there .... |
