Topic this week: Time For Reflection

It's that time of the year when I ask you to reflect. It's time to reflect on the things you have accomplished and those things you still need to work on. Come on now! Don't cop out on me, or yourself, by thinking this is a useless or boring task. It is not!

By reflecting on what you have accomplished you may just be really amazed and quite pleased with yourself. Sometimes we overlook the things we consider to be 'small things' or insignificant things. NEVER underestimate the things you've accomplished.

If you have started taming those nasty negative thoughts, that's a big step. Give yourself a lot of credit for that one. If you are attempting to change your thinking patterns, that's another big step. How about breathing correctly? There's another victory.

See? I'm telling you that you will not realize just how far you have come unless you reflect on who you were a year ago or even 3 months ago.

When you start to reflect, write down the positive changes you've made. Then write a list of those things you still need to change and improve. It's really worth your time to do this. Find a time when you won't be disturbed or interrupted. Don't gloss over things that you feel are too insignificant to write down. Nothing you accomplish is insignificant. Start giving yourself credit for things.

I'd also like for you to write to me and let me know of the positive strides you have accomplished. It helps me to know what to focus on in the newsletters. Work with me!!!!

Email me with any topic/s you'd like me to write about. I'm here to help you, but it's hard sometimes when I'm not sure what issues you'd like to read about. I'm only an email away. No topic/issue is too silly or insignificant. If it's important to you~~it's important to me. Whatever it is you'd like me to write about there will be others who want to read about the same thing. Don't be shy.

Now, get those minds working and the pen moving on the paper. Until next week I wish for you positive thoughts, some fun, and lots of little victories that will turn into big victories, one day soon.
