Is it just me -- or the bubbles -- or is Jeremy a James Dean look-alike?

The folks at Mount Palomar Winery have an attractive Mediterranean Deli with a variety of foods. We enjoyed a plate of assorted cheeses that complemented their wines.

Their tasting room is a quaint and quiet room.  The friendly and knowledgeable hostess poured the wine and guided us through the tasting, explaining the varietal characteristics and how the wine was produced. 

This experience was a departure from other tasting rooms where during peak times (and this being Valentine's weekend, it was PEAK), tasters jockeyed for position along a crowded bar, hoping to catch the eye of the person pouring the wine.
