I moved into the house my grandmother gave me. It's a very old house, built in the 1800's but has been completely remodeled. The view from the porches is breath-taking, and I will never regret my decision to move back.
I brought with me a golden retriever named Charlie, who was a S&R dog, but he had had enough of the smoke and dust too. I bought a horse about a month after moving here, and I just got a new filly. I love riding and hiking and Charlie is always ready to go.
I like fishing, sailing, growing herbs, reading, music, quilting, watercolors. I spend as much time outside as I can...I love the quiet!
I'm a very lasped pagan, so this has been very good for me...getting back in touch with nature and where I came from. It was as though I lost this part of myself for a long time, and now I'm finding it again.
