Summer Learn, Summer Fun!
Sayardaw U Pyinnya Thiha of ABBA
Burmese Temple of New Jersey in
collaboration with Daw Cho Cho Oo
of Burmese Women of NY, began a
"summer learn, summer fun" program
beginning June 2nd to July 28th, on
Saturdays between 1 to 3pm at the NJ
temple located in Englishtown.  The
program was a big success attended by
many children who lived in the NJ area.
For two hours each week, children
learned the teachings of Buddhism and
simple prayers by the sayardaw, and
they also get to participate in Arts and
Crafts and Group games.  Because of
this program, one of the participant's,
Timothy Thein (phothar) was given the
opportunity to participate in Score
learning center's "advantage" program,
(valued at $2,000 dollars) which is a one-year membership to advanced his reading and vocabulary skills.  Any questions about this rewarding program, please contact:
