They had 3 children, Kitty, Freddy and Pat, 10 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren. They owned a builders merchants shop at Willesdon and worked very hard till they retired in their 70's. The Grandchildren loved to come and stay with them.

Dad built a snooker hall with a full size table at the bottom of the garden. They all loved to play even the girls and also liked to help at the shop.

Sadly Kitty passed away in November 1987, and then shortly after Dad passed away in January 1988 after being happily married for 55 years.

Shortly after Dad passing away Mum moved to Peterborough with my Husband and myself for 8 years. Mum had very poor health, she lost the use of her hands and legs and was wheel chair bound. Mum moved from Peterborough to spend her last 7 years to be cared for in a rest home at Whitstable near my brother Fred and Nephew Alan. The home overlooked the sea. She was well cared for all the staff and residents thought highly of her and she will be sadly missed.

A lovely Mother and Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.

To be loved and remembered always.
