| Mixed Life The moon the stars the sky I stare up into the sky, I wish I can fly I lay on the ground forever Wonder what life is like, when you're a feather I fall asleep there on the ground, Wake up and realize that I have been found Stare into the eyes of the stranger Wonder for hours lost in his eyes. Snap! I'm awake for real No stranger just grass now how do I feel? Loneliness kicks in and I start to cry A figure flies by and my tears dry I smile wide, but with no fear I wonder if it would disappear I start to shake, and shiver I feel like I'm in a river I don't know why but I'm calling I feel like I'm falling I grab for a rock, that is what I see I miss it so I fall to the bottom of the sea. I wake up in a hospital bed The nurse said she thought I was dead I can't move my arm All this has done a lot of harm I am lost once again I wonder how all this began -by Brandy Tenas |
