We are located in Ocala, Florida and are trying to get a group of people together who enjoy kayaking, camping, and fishing. We would like to encourage the activity of kayaking for the pleasure and the preservation of our waterways and environment. It is free to join and there are no dues to pay. Being a Sundowner means leaving our parks and waterways cleaner than we found them.
Benefits of Joining: Fellowship of other kayakers, fun, and discounts. Help others learn about this great outdoor sport. Club outtings will be once a month. If you don't have a kayak and would still like to join in, we have 9 kayaks for club use, and on club outtings one can be provided for you on a first come first serve basis. If you own your own kayak and want to join in on any event you are welcome to come along.
