My first American Cocker Spaniel was a black bitch purchased in 1980 Ch. Marquelle Shz Got Rythm, but it was my second black girl the multi Best In Group winning Ch. Wyndrift Black Sabbath (Sabby) who was to provide the foundation line for Sunfire. Our current Best In Show winning dog Aust & NZ Grand Ch. Sunfire to Hell N Back (Ambrose) is her great great great Grandson.

The Best In Show winning Ch. Avanti's Ameretto at Marand's imp USA (Rhett) arrived in 1991 and he sired 2 litters producing 11 puppies which 8 of them became champions. The first mating was to Youanni Lettem Talk (Sabbies Great Grandaughter) which produced Champions Hellrazer, Wicked Game and Theme for a Dream. The second mating was to Am/NZ Ch. Klontafs Punk Rocker at Danton who arrived in 1994 which produced champions Paint it Black, Selebrity, Strut ya Stuff, Dynamite and Spellbound.

Dinah mated to Ch. Maceebra Death by Chocolate (Rhett son) produced the group winning champion boys Taylor Made and Freezai. The current Sunfires are descended from one or more of these dogs.
