| We have some exciting news to share! We are opening a second clubhouse in Coffeyville, KS. We should be ready to move in sometime January 2005 and we should open the doors February 2005. The new clubhouse will serve folks that we have been unable to reach due to geographic restrictions. If you have any questions concerning the new clubhouse or if you have any name ideas please call Sunflower Club at 620-331-1622. | ||||||||||||||

| We had a very special guest join us for lunch July 19th. Noted consumer advocate Pat Deegan made Independence a stop on her week long tour of Kansas. We were able to enjoy a spectacular lasagne dinner prepared by our kitchen. After lunch Pat led a discussion concerning medication issues. At the conclusion of her visit to Independence she was scheduled to travel to Wichita, Garden City, Hays, and Kansas City. | ||||||||||||||
