About Me and My Favorite Links

I am 26 years old. I live in New Castle, Delaware, but I am originally from southeast Pennsylvania. I graduated from William Tennent High School in '98 and received my B.S. Ed. from the University of Delaware in '02. I am currently a part-time graduate student at UD, going for my Masters of Education in Reading. I have two wonderful parents and a sister, Molly, who is 18 and a senior at New Hope Academy. She will be attending Bucks County Community College as an education major in the fall and I couldn't be more proud of her!!!!

I am a 2nd-year teacher in the Delaware Autism Program, assigned to Glasgow High School, in the Christina School District. I also taught 4th and 5th grade students with learning disabilities for three years.

One of my favorite hobbies is doing community theatre, but of course I'll take any excuse to act, sing, dance, and show off! I have done many shows at the Wilmington Drama League, and now Chapel Street Players as well.
I have been dancing since I was five years old. I did ballet for a long time, and later branched out to include jazz, modern, and tap as well. In college, I was on the Ballroom Dance Team for about two years.
In high school, I was in an elite and exclusive a cappella (no piano accompaniment) choir called the Madrigal Singers. It had approximately 14 members, so we were very close, like a family. We sang many concerts throughout the years, and were invited to Austria, Washington D.C., and Italy to perform. I was also in the orchestra. I played the violin from 4th grade through senior year.
