Helpful Tips
|
Always remember to lubricate your drive chain after every
1000 km (use 90 no. oil) and it will increase the life of chain by upto 300%
Always drive at a constant speed of 45 - 55 km to have a better grip on road and to enjoy the maximum average from the liter petrol.
For longer Engine life, always kick 3-4 times without switch on the ignition in morning or in idle condition for more then 3 hours.
Weekly check the air pressure in tyres (25 psi in front, 33-35 psi in rear. Depending on load you carry). Incorrect air pressure is one of the main cause for more fuel consumption.

||- Average (around 60-65 in city)
||- Riding Comfort (you will fall in love with it)
||- Amazing Pickup
||- Superb Breaking
||- Pass switch (missing in CBZ)
||- Sporty look
||- Build quality
||- Stability
||- Grip on road
||- Puncher resisting tyre (Believe me my rear tyre got puncher 15 days back but I could not notice till I saw the
nails in that. Amazingly the air
pressure loss was less then 4 psi. It's really a good thing for late night riders.)
||- And above all for the "LOGO OF HONDA"Dear.....
||- In the end you
should have UniCorn, irrespective of the things mentioned in right column.

To ensure that their Indian customers also feels the personalized touch with company, HSMI & Honda's Delhi dealers have organized the wonderful event called "UniCorn Mileage Contest" at Pragati Maidan on 5th Feb. 2006. Despite the mess (as they don't have enough experience to hold event like this) it was overall a very good and helpful event.
It was pleasure for me to be one of the participants in this event and my bike was awarded as: "Best Maintained Bike"

||- Edges on both Plastic & Metal parts.
||- Chrome (steel) Parts Quality, which is very poor right now.
||- Lots of Vibration in front
Visor.
||- Lots of Vibration in back light. (Sort out in summer camp)
||-
Clutch outer wire should be more in length .
||- Showing your teeths are ok but not every time.
Rear shocker should have some
covering, as engine & shocker gets muddy after every ride.

||- I really miss the "TRIP METER".
||-
Engine killing switch
should be there.
||- Horn is not even sufficient for an ANT.
||- Head Light power should be increased atleast by 50%.
||- Alloy wheels will be an advantage for UniCorn as now a days they are coming in very cheap bikes also.
||- Beware from side Aluminum look parts as they have really sharp edges to
Injure your fingers as mine.
||- Engine takes really long time to become worm in winter, till then it's give you Jerks for first 1 km.
||- Quality (polish) of Gearshift pedal is very poor. It's not going either with chrome part or with Aluminum looks parts.
||- Disk breaks definitely have some manufacturing defects/problems. Once it's open for any reason, the Honda mechanic can't fix it like the original Unicorn Breaks.
||- As I say earlier quality of plastic parts are not good. Over a period of time they developed some cracks. I personally found it in two indicators even they were never hit by anything. You can see the picture.
