Sometimes love comes softly,

silent as a lover's wish,

Surrounding us in its magic music,

Captivating us with its spell.

Sometimes love comes loudly

Triumphantly proclaiming to all

Brash and brassy

Consumed with itself.

Sometimes love comes quickly

In that instant when your eyes meet

and hearts are exchanged

with a wordless glance.

Sometimes love is perfect.

I know my heart will always be safe with you.
