| "SCULPOGRAPHY" is the documentation of ephemeral works created expressly for the taking of abstract macro photos. This process came about by the combining of my two loves-sculpture & photography; hence the name "sculpography". They are visual symphonies of depth, color & light intended to strike a chord in the viewer. Oscar Wilde once said, "Mere color, unspoiled by meaning, and unallied with definite form, can speak to the soul in a thousand different ways." Kandinsky(known for his striking use of color) said," Color is the keyboard. The eyes are the hammers. The artist is the hand that plays, touching one key or another, causing vibration in the soul." |

| Art is a finite expression of self with no need for explanation. What you bring to it is what is important because only you know what moves you and why. This is the premise upon which I base the artworks I create. I hope to create a symbiotic psychic dialogue between artwork and art lover. If I touch a heart, cause a spirit to soar, allow one to see again as a child- without prejudice, or awaken in one the desire to create I will have been successful. |
