What defines a soul? Who determines the worth of any existence? Who has more of a soul; the humans or their creation?

I thought of the idea for this one while I was watching the kids cartoon "Dragon Tales" on PBS with my baby niece, and I thought how phony and over-entusiastic it was. So I decided to write a more realistic version of it.

The Invasion, Death and Everything Else

I got the idea for this story after a read a book of short stories that were terrible called The Spirit Returns. In it there was a story very similar to this one, I hated the characters, the story line and the ending but I liked the concept so thought I had to save it and rewrite the story the way I think it should've been written (I do that a lot).

I had a dream that all of this happened and when I woke up, I was pissed. Since then I've learned to really appreciate the freedoms and wealth we have in this country (the US). It's not perfect but it's still better than most. I thought that I should share that with everybody else so I wrote this story.
