Sunny Days Rescue Program
Sunny Days Rescue Program is for animals that are suitable for adoption to a screened forever home.  While in our care we provide basic training, full veterinary care (including spay/neuter), take care of any treatable/cureable health and/or behavioral issues, and provide lots of love.

Animals in our rescue program are welcome to stay for the rest of their lives, though hopefully they can be adopted into loving forever homes so that the foster space can be used for another needy pet.  We do euthenize, but only when the animal is in extreme, untreatable pain, or is a danger to his/her caretakers.  We will never euthenize an animal due to lack of space or having been in our care too long.  We keep all of our rescue animals in foster homes that can best meet their needs.  For example, a pet that doesn't like children will be fostered in a child free home.

All animals coming in to our program (rescue or sanctuary) are altered, fully vetted, and tested for common problems (heartworm, FIV, feline leukemia, etc).  We do quarentine for two weeks.  At the end of the two week quarentine period, animals are tested for suitability for adoption and sorted into the best matched temporary or permanent foster home available.
