We understand that sometimes people are forced to find a new home for their pets for whatever reason. We also understand that some kind people take in animals with the intent to find them good homes, but have trouble, or their situation is not in the best interest of the animal. We are here to help as best we can. Keep in mind that our sanctuary program does have limited space, as does our rescue program though not to the same extent. Also, please keep in mind that we do have more space available for certain animals and less suitable temporary/permanent foster homes for others. There may be a waiting list to surrender certain kinds of pets.
If you feel that surrendering your pet to Sunny Days is an option you'd like to take advantage of, please copy (Ctrl C) and paste (Crtl V) our questionairre into a blank email, fill it out (one per pet you want to surrender), and email it to us. You should get a response within 3-7 business days. We do charge a surrender fee per animal surrendered to help cover the costs of caring for that animal while in our care. Please ask for the surrender fee when submitting your surrender questionairre. Fees are based upon some of the answers given on the form, so please do not ask for a surrender fee without filling out a form. |
