A Love Portrait

Here I am once again sending

my charm embodied in verse,

overwhelming your soul

with a blissful caress...

Your whole existence is right here

in front of me...

Manifested in the gentle breeze,

touching my face with its feathery embrace

In the golden sun shooting its rays of glamor

to brighten a day went dull

And in the curiosity of an infant

playing hide and seek with his pup

A day expressing its loving touch in various ways

In a flock of canaries enchanting nature's solemn refrain

In giggles of children splashed by glistening water

coming from a crazy daisy sprinkle

and in steps of lovers, walking hand

in hand with coconut trees on their side...

In sailors sailing in the vast blue sea

and after a while from the human sight are disappeared

and in painters pouring their inner colors

on white canvas for you and me to cherish forever...

In the pen of poets leaking tears and smiles

into heartfelt sighs, stored in the book of life

for "Almas Ambrientas" to find....
