The Sunriver Endurance Ride will once again be a Premier Long Distance Event. We will be holding a 80 mile and a 100 mile ride. Date: June 20, 2009 Location! Wanoga Snow Park, near Bend, Oregon Veterinary Staff Our head veterinarian is Dr. Jen Strelkauskas. Control veterinarians will be Dr. Cassee Terry, Dr. Eric Sharpnack, & Dr. Leslie Gill. Team Competition! The Sunriver Ride will also be host to another fun team competition! Entrants are encouraged to form teams of four riders. All four on each team must complete for your time to count. Team prizes will be given out. Another type of team competition will be taking place! PNER teams who sponsor a vetcheck will be duly rewarded! Pre-entry Pre entry is requested so we have adequate grits and completion awards on hand. Best Condition Best Condition judging will take place on Sunday morning. Awards will be presented shortly afterwards. We will have coffee, juice and breakfast treats available. Driving Directions From Hwy 97 Northbound & Southbound, take exit 138, "Mt Bachelor/Colorado St.". Follow Mt.Bachelor signs to Century Drive. Left onto Century Drive. Go approximately 12 miles to ridecamp, at the Wanoga Snow Park. The small print * All riders must have current AERC card or pay $15 AERC non-member fee. * Juniors must wear safety approved helmets & ride with sponsors. *All horses must have hoof protection on their hooves while on the trails. NO EXCEPTIONS *The Sunriver Ride is sanctioned by AERC. All AERC/PNER rules apply. **Bags will be provided for manure removal. You must take your refuse and maure with you, upon leaving. USFS stipulation to issuing our permit from year to year. |
