Amelia came to our herd in 2005 in an unusual "doe kid back" kind of situation. We sold Mogen to the Easterbrook herd as a kid, with the plan of a daughter back, and it finally came to taking Amelia as a 1st freshening 2 year old. As it turns out, Merlot was a strong force in my herd, and Mogen made incredible improvements on the does he was bred to. Amelia is a lovely example. Tall and powerful, wide and deep throughout, with an incredibly well attached mammary that milks plenty! We would like to shrink her teat size a bit, but really have no other complaints! We have kept does from her for 2 years, and we'll finally see them kid in 2008. We're excited! She is bred to Rev and due in April. Her daughters are due in March and May
