Though I never had the chance to meet Smitty, I've heard that he was a great man. He was also a humorous man, a kind-hearted soul and a talented rock drummer! I got to see first hand all the people that Michael had touched over the years. His loss is profoundly saddening, and I'm still reeling from the shock."
