Thanks to Frank for collecting most of the following information for me!!!

Screeching Weasel - "Ramones"

LP on Selfless Records, 1992

(many of them were signed/defaced by the band when they were staying at Selfless on tour in 92)

Bootleg Release Versions:

What Ben Weasel had to say about it (from linear notes of How To Make Enemies And Irritate People), "Some people hate it, some people like it. I'm abbivalent. It's nothing special, but it did really bring the band together at a time when we felt we were running out of gas; we had a blast recording the thing."

Parasites - "It's Alive"

LP on Clearview Records, 1997

(recorded live at 924 Gilman Street December 31st, 1996)

*Note: This is not the double LP that most people are familiar with. The Parasites covered the Japanese version of It's Alive. This version was a single LP and ommited 8 songs (I Wanna Be Well, Glad To See You Go, Here Today, Gone Tomorrow, Surfin' Bird, Chainsaw, Today Your Love, Tomorrow The World, I Wanna Be A Good Boy, and Let's Dance). This Japanese version also contained a lyric sheet with wrong (but very funny) lyrics. E.G. "Suzy is a headbanger, her mother is a Jew" (from Suzy Is A Headbanger) and "Flats in glass, Students in class, Mama's on the booze, Babies got the juice" (from We're A Happy Family) This lyric sheet is included with the Parasites album. Also, the Parasites sing all these incorrect lyrics which adds a new spin to these classic songs.

Ramones Songbook as played by the Nutley Brass

This is one of the more interesting Ramones cover records that I have heard. It is a 7" single (released in 1995) that features four Ramones songs played by a brass band. It's pretty funny, and kinda cool, actually.

It features covers of: Chinese Rocks, Gimme Gimme Shock Treatment, Beat On The Brat, & Havana Affair

Sam Elwitt from the Nutley Brass emailed me with info. that there's an upcoming Nutley Brass CD on Medicine Records with 10 Ramones songs covered by the Nutley Brass (4 from the single plus 6 more). It should be out before Christmas. So if you liked the 7" single, keep an eye out for the CD!

Nutley Brass - "Ramones Songbook" CD version

This is like the above 7" single, only it's a CD that was released a few years later, with more tracks.

The CD features covers of: Beat On The Brat, I Wanna Be Sedated, Blitzkrieg Bop, Gimme Gimme Shock Treatment, Teenage Lobotomy, Chinese Rocks, Rock 'N' Roll High School, Do You Remember Rock 'N' Roll Radio?, Havana Affair, & Something To Believe In
