- Sheryl went through a big and long bout of depression right before the realease of "Tuesday Night Music Club". During that time, people back in Kennet rumoured that Sheryl Crow had committed suicide, those rumours got to Sheryl's family more than once, her mother was really pissed and worried.
- Luckily Sheryl was able to get back up with the help of therapy and antidepressants.
- After that she started hanging out with the TNMC, every tuesday they'd get together to write songs, they were not allowed to bring any scraps or unfinished songs and they wouldn't leave the studio until they had something done. Sheryl's 1st album was born.
- During those sessions, tequila flowed. Sheryl recently announced in an interview she could definitely drink.
- After the release of the album, cowriters from the TNMC started to claim for more credit, everyone turned their back aginst Sheryl.
- Sheryl was blamed for the death of the writer of the novel "Leaving las Vegas" apparently because a nervous Sheryl blurted out yes, but immediately took it back, when asked if the song that goes by the same name was biographical. When she took it back, she said it was just metaphorical. Crow wass spared by the guys parents because they perfectly well knew his son had died because he had other problems.

- "Sad, Sad, World", a song from her foreign release of her 2nd album "Sheryl Crow", was apparently written thinking of Kevin Gilbert, Sheryl's now late boyfriend and cowriter of her first album Tuesday Night Music Club.
- Kevin Gilbert, who passed away of, according to the coroner, "autoerotic asphyxiation", was found dead at his apartment wearing a skirt.
- She accompanied the first lady Hillary Clinton and her daughter Chelsea in a U.S. trip to Bosnia to visit the U.S. troops that were there.

- Sheryl's 2nd album "Sheryl Crow" was banned by wal-mart because of the lyrics to one of the songs, "Love is a Good Thing" which goes: "Watch out sister, watch out brother, watch out children as they kill each othe with a gun they bought at wal-mart discount stores". Here's what a wal-mart rep had to say:"Walmart Stores Inc. has chosen not to carry Sheryl Crow's album, due to be released on the September 24, because of the lyrics to one of the songs. Specifically, Walmart strongly objects to the lyrics to "Love is a Good thing", suggesting that Walmart sells guns to children, allowing them to 'kill eachother'. Walmart believes this is unfair,untrue and totally irresponsible comment, and is particulary offensive to our associates who work hard each year helping their communities with the needs of our youth."

- Sheryl produced her 2nd eponymous album by herself after Bill Bottrell, the producer of TNMC, walked away the very 1st day, apparently he felt as though he wasn't needed.

- She recently gave acting a try. She played a heroin addict in an independent movie called "The Minus Man" starring Jeneane Garofalo and some others. Eventhough she said it was a short part, she dies in the 1st 5 minutes of the film, she said she really enjoyed it.
