Recently the Spooky-net was shocked and disappointed by the news that The Morgue was shutting its doors. Fortunately your humble narrator was on the case and put in a claim for its wubbulous pictures secion. The ex-owner, deadgirl, was gracious enough to send me a good-sized chunk of them. MY VIEWS ON STOLEN (we prefer the term "liberated") GRAPHICS:

I am a web-scavenger; I search the net for obscure or unusually good Manson pictures. Some sites, of course, have more of these hard to come by pictures than others. As a matter of policy, I try not to steal too many pictures from one source, and I borrow other people's scanners to scan whatever I can. If you see one of your pictures up here and you're in some way offended by it, I'm sorry. Yeah, I know, I'm a buttmunch. Get some more pictures. Flame me on your page. Let's face it: where did YOU get those beloved pictures? You stole them, probably from a magazine. I'm sure the photographer, if he's nearly as immature and bored as you are, is pretty pissed off at us both for profiting from his art. This is the internet; being able to steal and plunder freely with no monetary loss is what makes it so great. That and the communication thing.

Another side of this dispute is stealing custom-made graphics, and then taking false credit for making them. This pisses off the artists of the world, rightfully so, but I figure if you've got a great page and some twit steals your graphic, people are liable to put two and two together and figure out he didn't make it. Not only that, but he's living a lie and karma will get him in the end. Hi ho.

Before you send me pictures, keep in mind that I cannot post anything profane or pornographic. It's against geocities guidelines, and I love my site too much to risk its well-being for a few dirty pictures.
