Faster pussycat was a
sleazy version of the '80's glam scene. They are awesome,
They put out three albums
form 1987-1992. The first one is the self titled "Faster Pussycat"
which went gold and spawned
three singles, "Don't change that song,"Bathroom wall, and
the rap parody "Babylon".
The next Faster Pussycat album was 1989's "Wake me when it's over".
This album went platinum
and spawned two singles one being the radio hit "House of pain", and the
other being "Poison ivy". The third album was 1992's "Whipped". This was
a great album but unforunatley it came out in ther "dreaded" grunge days.
They did a video for "Nonstop to nowhere", which is a great song, but like
most rock videos, MTV stayed away from it and focused on the more lucrative
grunge scene which as we all know sux. |
