DARIO ARGENTO'S WORLD OF HORROR- 1986, Affectionate, yet through documentary on Italy's primo horror meister that includes rarely seen cuts from his films. Behind-the-scenes shots show Argento as a master of the innovative camera set-up as well as an unrepentant gorehound. Fascinating, loving study is a real treat for horror aficionados. Directed by Michele Soavi. Original Master DVD Laserdisc.

DARIO ARGENTO: MASTER OF HORROR- 1991, Excellent documentary of Dario's latest films, as well as a few of the olde favorites. Behind the scene interviews with Dario, Michele Soavi, Tom Savini and more. Uncut in english language version. Second generation copy from Japanese Laserdisc.

IL MONDO DI DARIO ARGENTO N.3- 1997, Another chapter in the 'World Of Horror' series, this time footage from Dario's museum in Rome, some ultra rare promo videos that Argento directed himself from 1984, coverage from 'Phenomena', 'Demons' 1 & 2, 'Opera', 'Trauma' and 'The Stendhal Syndrome'. Plus exclusive interviews with Dario, Tom Savini, Luigi Cozzi and more. Also featuring some tv specials and tv programs that Argento directed over the past few years. Highly recommended in original Italian language. Second generation copy from Japanese Laserdisc.

LA PORTA SUL BUIO- Literally translated 'The Door on the Darkness', this originally four-part mini-series was filmed in 35mm Eastmancolor by Seda Spettacoli in 1972 and had Dario Argento presenting and introducing each story. Two of these stories were directed by Argento himself. The two other episodes in the series were written and directed by Luigi Cozzi and the last one directed by Mario Foglietti from a screenplay by himself and Marcella Elsberger. Even if Argento didn't officially have a hand in the making of these episodes, it is fair to say that he was their source of inspiration. Two episodes available IL TRAM ('The Tram', 'The Bus') and LA BAMBOLA ('The Puppet', 'The Doll'). Unlike to what the opening title credits say, the episode called 'La Bambola' were written and directed by Mario Foglietti and Marcella Elsberger, as for the other one, it was written and directed by Argento himself. These 'new' opening title credits are only made by an unknowledgeable company to sell the tape higher. In Italian language with english sutitles. Fair quality.

LA PORTA SUL BUIO- Another version of Argento's short stories from Japanese Laserdisc in a none so-called lbx format shit offered by others. This version includes IL TRAM ('The Tram', 'The Bus') and the only other storie directed by Argento himself: TESTIMONE OCULARE ('Eyewitness'). In original Italian language with Japanese subtitles. This version is much superior to the above version but contains no english subtitles. Excellent- quality.

THE DARIO ARGENTO COLLECTION- This special compilation includes a 1994 interview from an Italian television program called 'Body To Body', a interview from a syndicated American tv show called 'The Joe Franklin Show' who was broadcasted august 29, 1985 and a 1990 fashion show from Italian television called 'Trussardi Accio' directed by Argento, based on styles from his movies. In english and Italian dialog with english subtitles. Quality varies.

DARIO ARGENTO:AN EYE FOR HORROR- 2000, LBX print. Behind-the-scenes from Argento's movie alchemy, including his striking rock-influenced music, groundbreaking special-effects, dizzying camerawork, and haunting imagery, from his early mystery masterpieces to his latest thriller, 'Sleepless'. Along with clips from his films, this program features interviews with Argento, Asia Argento, John Carpenter, Alice Cooper, Keith Emerson, Jessica Harper and Piper Laurie. TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE:A FAMILY PORTRAIT- 1988, The first ever comprehensive documentary on the making of one of the most successful independent horror films ever made. Includes interviews, film footage, and never before seen production photos. Excellent- quality.

ON THE TRAIL OF ED WOOD- 1990, Documentary on Edward D. Wood Jr. hosted by mr. Conrad Brooks. Excellent- quality.

FLYING SAUCERS OVER HOLLYWOOD: THE PLAN 9 COMPANION- 1992, Superb documentary on Ed Wood's 'Citizen Kane'. Interviews include Vampira, Paul Marco, Steven Apostoloff, Conrad Brooks, Valda Hansen, Forrest J. Ackerman, Sam Raimi and more. Excellent- quality.

ED WOOD: LOOK BACK IN ANGORA- 1994, This is the wildly absurd world of Hollywood's most imcompetent filmmaker, Ed Wood! Who, at age 54, died in poverty. FRANKENSTEIN: PLUS VIVANT QUE JAMAIS- 1994, Hosted by Roger Moore, this 2 hours documentary explores all the different Frankenstein movies over the years, including interviews, personal home movies, makeup effects and artists, toys and merchandising, movie trailers and a lot more. Also a special coverage from the Kenneth Branagh's 1994 version of Frankenstein. In french language. Original Master tape.

BIOGRAPHY: BORIS KARLOFF- 1995, Great biography from the legendary actor. Including interviews with his friends, his family, personal movies, movie trailers, the makeup effects from that time and a lot more. In french language. Original Master tape.

MANSON- 1973, Charles Manson, the most famous murderer of the twentieth century. On august 9, 1969, four Manson family members invaded a house on Cielo Drive and massacred its inhabitants. 'Manson', a documentary, has much fascinating family footage. Producer-director Laurence Merrick was murdered, shot dead around the time of its release. His killer remains unknown. There are no actors in this film, what you see and hear is real. The opinions expressed are solely those of Charles Manson, his followers and the people connected with the case. Banned in California. BATMAN & ROBIN- The complete 1949 movie serial. This action adventure was originally show in movie theatres in 1949, one chapter at a time, in weekly installments. Starring Robert Lowery, John Duncan and Lyle Talbot. Original Master tapes.

ALFRED HITCHCOCK PRESENTS- THE JOKESTER- 1958, Unsyndicated, this episode takes place in a morgue, a practical joker tries to scare an old morgue attendant. B&W. Very good quality.

THE FUGITIVE- 1963, The first and the last episode. Beginning in 1963 with the fascinating first episode to air to the last, four years later. the last episode captured 82 millions viewers, including 72% in America. Starring David Janssen, Barry Morse and Vera Miles. In french dialog. Original Master tape.

BATGIRL- 1967, Fifteen minute film unaired pilot made for ABC of what was supposed to be a sister show to Batman. Starring Yvonne Craig, Adam West and Burt Ward. Very good quality.

DR. STRANGE- 1978, Peter Hooten is the young hero, chosen by an ancient guardian of the spirit world to learn the mystic arts in order to safeguard the Earth. A tv movie based on a character of the Marvel Comics Group. Original Master tape.

SPIDERMAN- 1978, A live action tv episode starring Nicholas Hammond, Ellen Bry and Charles Haid. Original Master tape.

SPIDERMAN: THE CHINESE WEB- 1979, Live action tv movie starring the same cast. Original Master tape.

CAPTAIN AMERICA- 1979, Reb Brown stars as the legendary crime fighter. Special guest appearance by Steve Forrest. Original Master tape.

CAPTAIN AMERICA 2: DEATH TOO SOON- 1979, A ruthless terrorist holds the entire U.S. population hostage and only star-spangled hero Captain America (Reb Brown) can save the country from this horrible fate. Starring Christopher Lee as Miguel. Original Master tape.

V- THE ORIGINAL MINISERIES- 1983, Kenneth Johnson's science-fiction spectacular mixes state-of-the-art special effects with cliffhanger thrills. This original production, one of the most-watched miniseries, spawned yet another miniseries and a weekly series. Also included is an audio commentary by Kenneth Johnson and a 'Making Of' segment.
