I was born in Detroit in October, 1983 and was raised in its suburbs. Just half an hour's distance from Detroit and most of its surrounding areas, I am studying Language, Literature, and Writing for Secondary Education with a double minor in Music and Psychology at Eastern Michigan University. Besides my full-time occupation as a student, I am a writer, a violinist, a Catholic, and Secretary for the Lambda Phi chapter of Alpha Phi Omega. During the summers, I work teaching the importance of ecology and conservation to children in the Summer Safari program at the Detroit Zoo.
