A Native American Saying

Sufi parable | I will lift up mine eyes | Zen | Dover Beach | Divine Love | Jesuit prayer | Song of the Broad-axe
Love bade me welcome | Silent Noon |  Congruence | Clouds | Why?

The pictures in the slideshow are from the Sultanate of Oman

The saying comes from the Powhatan Indian people originally from New Jersey, North America.  Go to their site to learn their version of the Pocahontas story.

The music is Hymn to the Mother of God composed by John Tavener, sung by the Vasari Singers conducted by Jeremy Backhouse, 1996.

You will need RealAudio to hear it.

Tavener is a member of the Greek Orthodox Church.  Link to links.
