She wraps her soft, warm arms around the sweet innocent Child. She holds her tight for a very long time, gently rocking her back and forth. In a tiny voice, almost a whisper, she says, "I love you. You are safe. There is no need to worry." The Child softens, almost falling limp into the deep safety. It has been a very long time since the Child has let go, since it was OK for the Child to release. The Child falls into a deep, peaceful rest, holding onto the love and nurturing she is receiving. Tears well up and drip down, creating a puddle of salty wetness. She can feel the Child stir. So many questions in the Child's heart. This was not done for the Child then, so it will be done for her.....for me, now. I will love this lost, innocent Child.....ME. |
