~a wonderful tale about a brave little mouse and the triumph of believing in yourself~

If you haven't read "The Mouse Knight" by Cutter Hays, you simply must. You can read it at the RMCA website by clicking on any of the graphics on this page or by visiting http://www.rmca.org and clicking on "fiction". The author, Cutter Hays, kindly gave me permission to put some of his graphics here with a link imbedded in them because I wanted to help promote this wonderful story. I know that you will thank me when you read these fantastic tales about a mouse and his noble quest to free his family members from a fate worse than death (being eaten alive by a snake!). They are written in the tradition of legends and fantasy novels, with references to one very popular story that is currently an award winning movie. (Guess what I'm talking about?)

Cutter Hays is a very talented person, as you can see from this small sampling of wonderful illustrations that I share here with you. He's both the author of the story, and the illustrator of the gorgeous, lovingly drawn pictures that you will find throughout the story. I hope that you enjoy this story half as much as I do. You can tell Cutter wrote them from the heart, and so it comes as no surprise to learn that he has some very happy pet mice at home.
