Over the years, The Order of the Noble Companions of the Swan® has hosted so many important events that it is difficult to select which ones to show on this page. The following occasions are representative of the work and activities of the Order in the field of Chivalry.

H.R.S.H., Prince William I de Alabona-Ostrogojsk, Grand Master of the Order of the Noble Companions of the Swan®, presents the Order's Commemorative Medal of the First Crusade to Metropolitan Archbishop Donald W. Mullan and Father Richard O. Blalack

Order represented at Christ Church International Anniversary. On June 22, 1997, in celebration of the 60th anniversary of Christ Church International, an Old Catholic denomination encompassing four countries, the presiding Bishop, H.E., Metropolitan Archbishop Donald W. Mullan, P.S., of Niagara Falls, Canada, celebrated a Solemn High Mass at Holy Chalice Old Catholic Church in Eatontown, New Jersey (USA). The Pastor of the Church, Father Richard O. Blalack, Ch.P., assisted the Archbishop. Attending the Mass and representing the Order of the Noble Companions of the Swan® was the Grand Master, H.R.S.H., Prince William I de Alabona-Ostrogojsk, escorted by a Guard of Honor comprised of Knights of the Order and its attached Order of Merit of Saint Angilbert. Following the High Mass, Archbishop Mullan and Father Blalack presented Prince William the Diamond Jubilee Episcopal Award in recognition of his many significant contributions to Christian Chivalry. Prince William presented the Order's Commemorative Medal of the First Crusade to the Archbishop and Father.

Dignitaries at Commemorative Banquet. Representing a fraction of the total attending the November 1996 Commemorative Banquet, these distinguished guests include the Grand Masters of three Chivalric Orders, an Archbishop and other high-ranking clergy, and the Heads of several Royal and Noble Houses.

The Order of the Noble Companions of the Swan® formally presented to the Nobility of Lithuania

Order formally presented. On March 22, 1997, in the Artists House in the capitol of Lithuania, Vilnius, H.E., Baron Alvidas Remesa Krause von Kelles und Tyzenhauz, a Knight of the Order, formally and publicly presented the Order of the Noble Companions of the Swan® to the resurrected historical Nobility of Lithuania. The occasion was broadcast by Central Lithuanian Television. Extracts were also broadcast by Lithuanian Radio during cultural programs throughout Lithuania.

Recent Ceremony and Service of investiture of the Order of the Noble Companions of the Swan®

Investiture. The Order of the Noble Companions of the Swan® has held regular Ceremonies and Services of Investiture for many years. Pictured here are many Dignitaries, including high Church officials and Nobility, who were admitted to the Order.

The Lord Mayor of London, Sir Ronald Gardner-Thorpe, and Prince William

Lord Mayor of London Knighted. Sir Ronald Gardner-Thorpe, Lord Mayor of London, is shown presenting the Grand Master of the Order of the Noble Companions of the Swan®, H.R.S.H., Prince William I de Alabona-Ostrogojsk, a gift emblazoned with the Lord Mayor's Arms. This presentation was made at a Gala Banquet held in Sir Ronald's honor after he was admitted into the Order. Sir Ronald was Lord Mayor of London from 1980 through 1981. During Sir Ronald's second year in office, the Royal Wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana took place. Sir Ronald was a Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire and a Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the Noble Companions of the Swan®. Famed Hungarian Family. Shown are Countess Melinda Esterhazy,Prince William, and Count Eugen Esterhazy after a dinner in honor of the distinguished Hungarian family hosted by the Order of the Noble Companions of the Swan®. Both the Count and Countess are Grand Crosses in the Order.

Prince William, Prime Minister of the Zulu Nation and Major General James Hamlet

Prince William with Zulu Nation Prime Minister. Welcomed by Prince William at a Gala Banquet was Chief Mangosuthu Gatsha Buthelezi, the Chief Executive Counselor of the KwaZulu Legislative Assembly and President of the Inkatha Zulu Party who, in 1985, was also Prime Minister of the Zulu Nation. Chief Buthelezi traces his ancestry back to King Shaka, founder and leader of the Zulu Nation. The Chief is a Christian and leader of the largest tribe in South Africa.
