The Badge of the Order
Apostolic Blessings. The Order of the Noble Companions of the Swan® has received the Apostolic Blessings of His Holiness, Pope John Paul II; His Holiness, Baselius Marthoma Mathews I of the Apostolic Throne of Saint Thomas and Malankara Metropolitan of the Orthodox Syrian Church (a Grand Prelate of the Order); His Beatitude Diodoros I, Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem (a Grand Prelate of the Order); and His Beatitude Maximos V, Patriarch of Antioch, the Orient, Alexandria, and Jerusalem of the Melkite Catholic Church. Listing. The Order is listed in the prestigious publication Diccionario de Ordenes de Caballeria y Corporationes Nobiliarias (Dictionary of Orders of Knighthood and Noble Corporations) and other similar references. The Order's Arms have also been registered with the Spanish Heraldry Society, the Collegium Heraldicum Russiae (Russian College of Heraldry) and the College of Arms of the Royal and Serene House of Alabona-Ostrogojsk.
Other Honors. In 1992, the Senate of the State of New Jersey (USA) passed a Special Resolution commending the Order of the Noble Companions of the Swan® for its endeavors to promulgate the ideals of Christian Chivalry in the modern world through personal example of its members and educational programs. In 1999, the Order was further commended in the Congressional Record of the United States House of Representatives (106th Congress).
Order Representatives. The Order is represented by its membership throughout the world with Knights, Dames and Clergy resident in Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, England, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Lithuania, Malta, Morocco, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Scotland, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Syria, Togo, the United States of America and Venezuela.
Membership. The Order of the Noble Companions of the Swan® is ecumenical in its composition, and admission to the Order is possible by invitation or recommendation by a member of the Order. Aspirants must submit a thorough Petition for Admission together with a current curriculum vitae for consideration by the Grand Master of the Order.
The Order of Merit of Saint Angilbert
Attached to the Order of the Noble Companions of the Swan® is the Order of Merit of Saint Angilbert (pr: "an-jew-bare").
