This is my webpage dedicated to the class of 1999. In June I graduated from Canarsie High School in Brooklyn New York. There have been many people who have touched me in my four year path of education...the stars of my life. I want to tell them and everyone, how much they mean to me, and how I am so happy to have had them in my life. Thank you.
Hector ~~ Truly I never met you until junior year. Then slowly but surely we became good friends. :o) I am so blessed to have you as a brother in Christ. I have been going through *issues* and so forth, And I know that you are there to listen to me and direct me back on the right path. I am so happy that *our* paths crossed. Thank you!! I truly believe you are my mirror whether you believe it or not. :o)
Keisha ~~ LoL as I sit here in school typing this up you are directly across from me in another part of the computer world. :o) You are the sweetest, kindest person I have met in Canarsie. You have a very warm and positive spirit that everyone loves about you. I know you are going to be something very special in this world because you wouldn't have it any other way. :o) You are a great friend and I appreciate you very much. :o) Thanks for being there and I love ya.
Mr. Klamka ~~ The best teacher that never taught me a class. I wrote a poem one day out of boredom and I thought it was the best thing in the world. I showed it to people and they said "eh" and "okay". But when I showed it to you, you thought it was actually good, and you smiled at my work. I thought that was just absolutely amazing. You have brought me to new levels with my poetry, and confidence. I give you the highest praise and the most heartfelt thanks.
Sherri ~~ My Best Stis. You helped me when I thought math was english and english was math. You always followed me to the library (~never to get any work done but! thats another story~) Always kept the looming stress factor out of harms way and kept things fun, of course thats what sisters are for. Lucky Lucky to have a sister like you.
Karen ~~ One of my first friends in Canarsie. Four years you have been there for me, listened to me gush, bicker and whine about crush after crush after crush!!! Walked next to me on that narrow road of success, and whenever I wobbled you helped me. We never fought or were ashamed of each other or anything like that. We have been good friends from the start, and always will be.
Mr. Ziyambe ~~ Z-Baby you were the best. I loved you because you always helped me out and made me laugh when I was down. Also, not to take anything from anyone, and to be confident and strong. You always always understood what I was going through and never gave up on me. When I visited you, you always had a big smile on your face and said "Here's my baby!" I love you and may your spirit rest in peace. Mr. Ziyambe died two years ago.
