| I went to Vietnam in the fall of 1968, and stayed until December of 1970. I was in the Navy and spent my entire time in country riding boats on the rivers of I Corps. 15 of those months were spent at Cua Viet, near the DMZ. I was on an LCM 8 making trips between Cua Viet and Dong Ha. Then I went to Tan My/Hue and the Perfume River for about 3 months on an LCM 6 minesweeper. My last assignment was as an advisor on Swift boats( PCF's). After 6 months on Swifts I went home and was discharged.
