Give your opinion

Do you have a preference or a recommendation about where the Statue of World Peace should go in the USA?

a) New York, across the East River from the United Nations Building (so the delegates can see the silver statue shining in the east).  After all, New York is associated with the Statue of Liberty, so why not also the Statue of World Peace?

b)  Near the Pentagon, so visitors to and from Arlington Cemetery might see a symbol for part of what the soldiers fought for.

c)  ??? Do you have a suggestion?

Suggested text for a letter of support

Dear Mayor Williams,

I heard that your office has received a petition asking your city to accept a Statue of World Peace.   I support the proposed project for installing The Statue of World Peace in Washington, D.C.   It will be a twin to a Statue of World Peace that stands today in Beijing.

I hope your city council will accept the proposed statue to create a center for peace and place it in a location that will inspire people who visit Washington, DC.

I look forward to someday visiting our Capital and seeing the Statue of World Peace.

Sincerely,
How tall is the statue?
