How tall is the statue?
A summary of the BYLAWS OF STATUE OF WORLD PEACE FOUNDATION, INC.

STATUE OF WORLD PEACE FOUNDATION, INC.

Washington, DC 20006

Purpose: Installation and maintenance of public monuments and works in public forums throughout the world.  Specifically, the Corporation shall erect the sculpture by well-renowned Chinese musician, sculptor and artist,

Mr. Yuan Yan Wen, known as the “Statue of World Peace” for display to the general public, and develop a “Statue of World Peace Park.

Tax Exempt:  This Corporation is a Section 501(c)(3) organization.


The Corporation is not-for-profit. No part of the net earnings of this Corporation will be distributed to its Members, Directors, officers, or other private persons, except that this Corporation shall be authorized and
empowered to pay reasonable compensation for services rendered.

Board of Directors:
The business of the Corporation is managed by its Board of Directors, numbering not less than three (3), nor more than twenty-seven (27) Directors.

Volunteers.
All Directors are volunteers and shall not take compensation in any form.

Senior Advisors are nominated by either the Executive Committee or Board of Directors, and shall execute such duties as determined by the Board of Directors.  A Senior Advisor shall serve a 3-year term.
