TAMMIN SURSOK 'S BIOGRAPHY

Tammin Pamela Sursok (Born as Tammy) was born on 19 August, 1983 in Johannesburg, South Africa (which makes her 18 this year) her family and her moved to Australia when Tammin was just 4 years old. Tammin's family names are Julie (her mum) Daryl (her dad) and she also has a older brother named Shaun. Tammin stands at 173cm tall has hazel eyes and her hair is brown but now she has blonde streaks in it and looks more blonde. Tammin has 2 pet dogs named Hunny and Smudge, she likes Japanese Themes and just recently she got her room turned into a Japanese layout.

Tammin still attends school due to her home and away work, but just recently she had to quit school because of her overload work, I found out that she still studies doing a distance education programme. The subjects that she enjoys the most are art, drama, english and history. Tammin enjoys history, her dad and her do it together she says.Tammin also attended the Trinity Speech and Drama college of England where she received a high distinction in her final exam. Cool hey :o)

Tammin joined Home and away last year in 2000, has I remember her first apperance was in late May early June, she was excited when she got the part. She actually auditioned the part for Peta but she was'nt right for the part, so after 3 attemps audtioning for Dani Sutherland she finally go it. Tammin actually started acting when she was 3 years old, she did shows with youth clubs, TV ads and drama at school. She says she loves acting : o )

Tammin has appeared in various commercials, including a youth and alcohol advertisement, and started modelling a year ago. This is, however Tammin’s first television role on"Home and Away". Before "Home and Away" Tammin was modelling for Girlfriend and Dolly, at this present time she does some modelling and has recent been on a Dolly Magazine cover.

Tam said "I was so excited when I heard I got the part, I couldn't believe it, I was speechless. This is something I have always wanted to do and thought if I didn't make it soon I never would, so it came at a good time". She enjoys her role in "Home and Away" she's so thrilled. Tammin had an agent for her to get the part on "Home and Away". She's always wanted to be an actor of somesort even singing, dancing, theatre production something on those lines.

Tammin has little scar on her forehead right? When she was 3 she got her fingers jammed in a door her mum quickly pulled the door open and it flung out and smacked her in the head. She said she fell to the ground and there was blood everywhere! I guess that wasn't fun at all. Tammin enjoys doing school work, spending time with her family and friends, singing and also is learning to play the guitar and piano from her mum. WOW! : o )

CHARACTER - DANI SUTHERLAND

Tammin Sursok plays Dani Sutherland on "Home and Away". When she first came onto the show she was playing a 16 years old girl who moves to Summer Bay with her family from the city. Her parents, Rhys Sutherland (Michael Beckley) and Shelley Sutherland (Paula Forrest), want their children to have a better lifestyle, so they decide to move another place. Dani has two twin sisters, Kirsty Sutherland (Christie Hayes) and Jade Sutherland (Kate Garven).

They had to leave all their friends behind and move to a different place "Summer Bay". The move seems to have affected Dani the most, as she has had to leave her boyfriend behind and her city lifestyle. Dani Sutherland took quite a while to settle into "Summer Bay" Dani is a teenager with a big chip on her shoulder. She doesn't like "Summer Bay" much at first, but starts to like it later. Dani Sutherland is always ready to bite someone's head of and says what she thinks, she's also confused and can be bitchy at times.

Over the year Dani Sutherland has settled very well in "Summer Bay" She's made new friends and found new love : o ). (not me of course) Dani Sutherland now is a muched loved character on the show. Tammin says she enjoys playing Dani Sutherland because she has a bit of an edge. She is the type of character that you can really get your teeth into. You couldn’t call her boring. She can be moody sometimes and so annoying but she also can be friendly.
